Special Education Teacher graduates can be appointed as "Special Education Teachers" to special education schools serving under the Ministry of National Education after completing their undergraduate education. In addition, they can work as special education teachers in Guidance Research Centers affiliated to MEB. Our graduates also have options to work in Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers, consultancy centers and initiatives that develop educational materials. Considering the insufficient number of education personnel trained in Special Education Teaching, especially in our country, it is seen that special education teaching program graduates can easily be appointed to public schools. Therefore, Special Education Teacher teaching field today is one of the few areas of non-employment problem in Turkey. Similarly, university academic staff has special education needs in terms of academic staff in Turkey. Our graduates who want to continue their academic career in the field of special education with graduate education have the opportunity to attend many programs both at home and abroad in various branches of special education and in other fields they want.
